PLAN YOUR SCHOOL EXCURSION TO LANDSDALE FARM
At Landsdale Farm, learning comes to life through real-world, hands-on experiences that go far beyond the classroom. Our excursions are designed to engage every sense — from feeling the texture of soil, hearing the rustle of leaves, and taking in the scents of the farm, to observing animals up close and even tasting fresh produce straight from the garden.
This kind of sensory-rich learning fosters curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking, while also supporting mental well-being. Research shows that time spent in nature reduces stress, improves focus, and helps build emotional resilience — and our farm is the perfect setting for that growth to happen.
START YOUR ADVENTURE AS SOON AS YOU ARRIVE
One of our friendly farmers will meet your group and guide you to your designated meeting point. From there, the adventure begins! Every excursion includes a variety of exciting, educational activities such as:
A cart ride around the farm
An engaging chicken talk where students learn about the lifecycle of a chicken and get to meet fluffy baby chicks
A fascinating worm talk focused on composting and soil health
A visit to the Red Barn, where students can observe and interact with a variety of farm animals
Animal feed for hands-on encounters with some of our friendliest animals
Our excursions are designed to spark wonder, build confidence, and create unforgettable learning moments for students of all ages and abilities.
