Bring learning to life with hands-on farm experiences through Landsdale Farm’s school programs. Our incursions and excursions are designed to spark curiosity, connection and creativity through real-world learning about animals, nature and sustainable farming.

Capacity:
We can accommodate two classes per day (approximately 50–60 students). Students will be divided into two groups and rotate between farmer-led and teacher-led activities.
Recommended times:
Arrival: 10:00am
Departure: 2:00pm

We will then provide a personalised itinerary for your visit.
What to Expect
When you arrive, one of our friendly farmers will welcome your group and guide you to your meeting area. Students will then rotate through a range of engaging activities designed to encourage learning through experience.
Excursion activities include:
Cart ride around the farm
Chicken lifecycle talk and meeting baby chicks
Worm and composting talk focused on soil health
Animal encounters in the Red Barn
Feeding some of our friendly farm animals
These experiences are designed to spark curiosity, encourage hands-on learning and create memorable moments for students of all ages.
What to Bring
Hats, sunscreen and water bottles

Please note: school bags are left in your designated outdoor excursion area, which is accessible to the public.
Cost
$23.60 per child (including GST)
There are no additional charges for teachers, education assistants, carers or parent volunteers.
